Meet Mariachi Fuego Band from Toronto!
Do you know what Fuego means in Spanish? Fire! Mariachi is the traditional Mexican music. Mariachi music celebrates the joys and struggles of ordinary people and is usually played at important events and holidays. You might have heard some well-known songs such as “Cielito Lindo”, “Guantanamera or “La Bamba”. The Mariachi musical instruments include brass instruments like trumpets, violins, various guitars such as guitarron (large guitar) and a special vihuela (round-backed guitar). The term Mariachi is used to call both an individual performer and the music genre itself.
