Every February, people across Canada participate in Black History Month events that honor the legacy of Black people in Canada. This is the time to remind our followers about the ECG Productions award-winning film “Toronto Caribbean Carnival: Fun and Free” directed by Irina Volkova. It tells the story of the grand parade born out of slavery and the history of Caribbean colonization and emancipation.
