We are excited to share with our followers that the ECG Productions team led by Anastasiia Mateshko is currently engaged in a new project titled “The Nation’s Memory on the Artist’s Palette”. The year 2025 marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Ukrainian Association of Visual Artists of Canada (USOM), For all this time USOM has been a creative force in the Ukrainian community in Canada, and the artworks created by its members decorated cities across our country. Today, USOM unites about fifty artists of Ukrainian origin throughout Canada. These are representatives of different generations, from those who came to Canada in the 1940s after
World War II to the very young who are in Canada today, fleeing a hostile invasion. But the
the main thing that unites each of them is love for their homeland, respect for their roots,
ancestors and traditions, which is reflected in their art.

Being a Canadian-Ukrainian and from an artistic family, the director Anastasiia Mateshko believes that this documentary is a great way to explore life in Canada through the works of Canadian Ukrainians.
The painting of an Angel is done by the artist Ivan Lazirko and our team had a chance to visit the headquarters of the artist and see it in vivo.
