ECG Productions is working on the documentary When the Monuments Speak. This project is dedicated to the rich history of Polish emigration to Canada, as well as the history of Polish-Canadian relations. You will learn about Polish traditions and customs and hear amazing personal stories the Polish community has to share. The documentary is built around the monuments associated with the pages of Polish and Canadian history. More than a dozen monuments have been erected across Canada to commemorate important and dramatic events. There is a monument to Pope John Paul II who was Polish by nationality and visited Canada numerous times; a monument to the victims of Katyn and to Polish pilots who fought in the Canadian army during the Second World War and many more! The film will be completed and ready for distribution in 2022.
