We are working on the scenography for a monologue performance and filming in the amateur theater «The Amazing Cat». This will be another story from the book «58th. Unseized», based on real testimonies of victims of repression. Liliya Sklyar will play the role of Susanna Pechuro.
Together with Dmitry Khilchenko and Ivan Kiba, we are brainstorming the stage design. We need to combine two spaces — Moscow, school, home, and Kolyma. We decided to split the stage in half. On the right— life before the arrest. On the left— the camp. In the center, there is a table with a lace tablecloth and a lampshade— a space for the actress, a place of memories and inner dialogue.
We continue the creative process and discuss the details. There is still a lot of work ahead.
