Today, for the “Taiko – the Music of the Strong” project, the film crew of ECG Productions visited the Japanese Consulate General in Toronto. Consul-General of Japan Mr. SASAYAMA Takuya spoke about Japanese culture, which is widely represented in Canada, about his musical preferences, and the philosophy of the Japanese national character. Mr. SASAYAMA Takuya admitted that the art of taiko does not leave him indifferent, and he himself often attends the performances of the Nagata Shachu band, led by the main character of our film, the famous musician Kiyoshi Nagato.
