In this episode, Gregory Antimony took an interview with Father Nestor Mykhailechko and they discussed such topics as the role of war chaplains, how to stop evil and why are Russians different from Ukrainians.

Here are a few quotes from the interview with Father Nestor:

“The clergy have all mobilized. They went into chaplaincy. They weren’t called to the military recruitment center. It’s all volunteers. There are Jewish chaplains, there are women. They take risks, and they are allowed to carry weapons.”

Interview about War in Ukraine with the AFU soldier and our friend Sergey Takhmazov

A new episode of the program “An Interview Hour with Gregory Antimony” is now available on our YouTube channel:

Gregory Antimony took an interview with our good friend, Sergey Takhmazov who is a professional cameraman and he filmed several films and programs together with our Canadian company. Since 2014 Sergey has been a volunteer, and with the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine, he became a serviceman of the AFU. The program uses footage shot by Sergei in the spring of 2022 – the aftermath of the Russian occupation of the Kyiv region. We highly recommend this interview episode to our followers, since it features a deep conversation about the war between Ukraine and Russia as a war of values and meanings. And the challenge that Ukrainians must overcome if they want to survive as a nation. The program was recorded during our trip to Ukraine in June 2023.

Here are some excerpts from Sergey’s thoughts spoken in the interview:

“It’s very easy to start a war. But as soon as you start a war, it immediately goes out of your control, meaning that those people who start wars mistakenly thought always that they were in control of something.”

“This war is our war, and it is only us who will die and fight, no one else.”

“This is the first technological war. With drones, satellite communications, targeting, electronic warfare and intelligence.”

“One has to be honest with oneself. Russia is a strong, smart, cunning enemy, and it learns quickly.”

“February 24th zeroed in on everything. For me it was expected, I’ve always been a good learner of history.”

“(Before invasion) The military leadership was preparing, the political leadership didn’t want to believe.”

“Judicial reform is a key element of Ukraine’s survival.”

“No one believes in words, everyone believes in actions.”

“If we resist, they (collective West) will help us.”

“(With his aggression) Putin was able to transform Ukrainians into a monolithic nation.”

“There are no political parties in Ukraine, there are chief-oriented projects, so no chief – no party. We’ll smash Russia, then we’ll deal with it.”

“On February 24, Putin made a suicidal step.”

“Ukrainian is not about ethnicity. It’s about values, about free will, and dignity”.

Meeting with colleagues from FREEДOM TV in Kyiv

ECGProductions represented by Gregory and Olga Antimony during a meeting on the FREEДOM TV channel in Kyiv. This Russian-language channel was created in 2015 in response to the numerous anti-Ukrainian propaganda broadcast by Russian propaganda. During the meeting, questions were discussed that in the near future our works could become part of the content of this channel.
