Sounds of Canada is a unique project where artists and bands from different ethnic groups residing in Canada showcase their music and songs. You will have a chance to enjoy various genres and styles from classical to rock and rap.
Today we would like to share with you an episode of Armenian Sounds of Canada, where you will hear the enchanting sounds of an ancient Armenian folk instrument called “duduk” and learn its fascinating history. The duduk is one of the oldest woodwind instruments in the world which dates back over 3,000 years. Is duduk a type of flute? Do you know what type of wood is a good duduk made of?
