| “Between Heaven and Earth”We’re excited to share a new series now underway under the direction of our colleague Maxim Kravchinsky.
Work on “Between Heaven and Earth” began in late December and continues into 2026. The series follows the life of Father Jovan Marjanac, a Serbian Orthodox priest from Ontario, and his family.
January is a special season for our subjects: in Orthodox tradition, Christmas is celebrated on January 6, and it’s also a time when many families baptize their young children. Our crew has already captured powerful footage of the Christmas liturgy and the rite of baptism—both vibrant and deeply solemn.
Next post, we will show the behind-the-scenes from our filming January 19: the Feast of the Epiphany, when believers plunge into icy waters.
